Sober Tracker

Privacy Policy

Updated: 2026-07-13

Sober Tracker ("the App") helps you track your sobriety. This policy describes what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account: a device-based identifier used to sign you in automatically. Email is optional.
• Sobriety data: your quit date, optional weekly spending and currency, and your daily pledge status.
• Journal & cravings: the moods, notes, and craving entries you choose to record.
• Usage data: the number of journal check-ins you have used, to enforce the free limit.
• Purchase data: subscription status is managed by the app stores / RevenueCat; we receive only entitlement events (e.g. active/expired) to enable your subscription.

How we use it

• To store, display, and let you export your recovery records.
• To manage your subscription and free-tier limit.
• We do not sell your data or use it for cross-context advertising.

Sensitive context

Information about sobriety and addiction is sensitive. We keep data associated with your device account and do not sell it. Treat your device access accordingly.

Data retention

You can delete journal or craving entries at any time from the App. Deleting your account (contact us) removes your account data.

Security

Authentication uses signed tokens (JWT). Database access is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your rights

You may access or delete your entries in-app. For other requests, contact us.
